Zippos Circus runs a Community Admission Scheme, distributing 100 free tickets each week to families who could not otherwise afford to attend. The positive well-being outcomes of families attending cultural activities together have been widely acknowledged, as have the benefits of attending live performances.
Circus is a largely visual art form that crosses national and cultural barriers and is therefore ideal for those without English as a first language.
We work with many different partners to distribute these tickets including Children and Families teams, Home-Start, schools, housing associations, food banks, refugee support groups and others.
If you think that you can help us target the families who could benefit most, please contact Jo Askham at jo@zippos.co.uk.
